Arc'teryx Pro Cold WX Balaclava SV

The updated Pro Cold WX Balaclava SV (Gen 2) is specifically designed for cold and extreme cold operational theatres where protection from low temperatures and windchill are critical. Created using two different materials, the design carefully balances environmental protection, breathability and functional use in an ergonomic design and flat seam construction that minimizes bulk. The patterning means it can be worn over the face or pulled down under the chin, whilst still protecting the head and neck. The Cold WX Balaclava SV (Gen 2) features 3L GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER™ with Durable Water Repellency in the most highly exposed areas around the top of the head and across the nose and cheeks. This offers significant warmth and protection from the biting effects of windchill, whilst also providing water resistance against any precipitation. The Polartec® Power Stretch® Pro over the mouth and around the neck combines warmth, mobility, and moisture management whilst also aiding breathing and airflow.
